Welcome to Wonderland for Kids – a nurturing, bilingual Montessori and early learning center nestled in the town of Los Barriles. Our mission is to provide a safe and enriching environment where children can grow, learn, and thrive. We are committed to offering high-quality education and care that supports each child’s unique developmental journey in both English and Spanish.

Our team of compassionate teachers and caregivers is dedicated to creating a warm and welcoming environment that sparks joy, curiosity, and a love of learning in every child. We provide both high-quality care and a Montessori-inspired early learning program tailored to meet each child’s individual interests and needs. Whether your child is with us short term, or long term, we strive to make their time at Wonderland for Kids truly unforgettable.
About Our Facility
Our spacious, air-conditioned facility is thoughtfully designed to support both Montessori learning and high-quality childcare. The Montessori classroom features carefully prepared spaces representing the five core areas of learning: Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, Mathematic, and Cultural learning (including Geography).
The playroom encourages creativity and exploration through open ended toys and is filled with toys and imaginative play sets. Soft flooring ensures kids can play and move safely.
Outdoors, children enjoy a large, shaded play area designed for active movement, climbing and gross-motor development.
Meals are shared in a calm, organized eating area that supports independence and healthy routines. For rest time, our quiet sleep rooms with individual cribs and a peaceful atmosphere ensuring children feel secure and well-rested.
Wonderland for Kids Infant and Toddler Program (6-24 months)
Our top priority is to ensure that every child feel safe, loved, and confident to explore the world around them. We focus on building strong, nurturing relationships that support emotional development during these foundational years. We collaborate closely with parents to ensure a smooth transition into our care, building trust and bonding with each child. Safety is our number one priority, and all infant caregivers are trained and certified in first aid and CPR. You can rest assured that your baby is in caring and capable hands.

• Literacy Activities: Reading books, pointing to objects, and talking with your baby to support listening skills and vocabulary development.
• Creative Development: Engaging with music, exploring textures, and playing toy instruments to stimulate curiosity and creativity.
• Physical Milestones: Supporting key physical developments like rolling over, crawling, pulling up, learning to use their hands, and walking.
• Emotional Support: Offering plenty of cuddles and holding to ensure your baby feels loved and secure.
• Outdoor Time: Opportunities for sensory and motor development while exploring the outdoors.
• Group Activities: Encouraging interaction with others to foster an increasing awareness of themselves and their relationships with those around them.

Our Progams
Montessori Childrens’s House Program (2.5 to 5 years) 8AM—12PM
Our bilingual Children’s House Montessori program for children ages 2.5 to 5 years is designed to nurture independence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning during the early childhood years. In a calm, thoughtfully prepared environment, children are guided by certified Montessori guides who respect each child as a capable and confident learner.
Through hands-on Montessori materials and purposeful work, children develop concentration, coordination, problem-solving skills, and self-confidence. The Children’s House environment supports the five core areas of Montessori learning: Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, Mathematics, and Cultural Studies.
Children are immersed daily in both English (15%) and Spanish (85%), supporting language development in a natural and meaningful way. Social development is gently guided through mixed-age interaction, consistent routines, and lessons in grace and courtesy.
Our Children’s House Program balances structure with freedom within limits, allowing each child to progress at their own pace.

If you’re visiting Los Barriles, Wonderland for Kids makes it easy for your child to join in the fun with our flexible daycare program. Available for daily drop-ins, our program gives vacationing children the opportunity to play, learn, and connect with other kids in a safe, engaging environment.
With a perfect blend of unstructured play, games, and creative group activities, your child will experience a balanced mix of fun and learning. We also provide homework support and encourage communication in both English and Spanish, helping kids develop new language skills while having a blast.
